This specific scene from the movie Psycho stood out to me during the first day of screening. In the scene, a private investigator is interrogating Norman Bates about Marion staying in the motel. It is a very significant point in the plot, because until this point, there has been no lead as to Marion's whereabouts. Also, it is when they realize that something isn't right with Norman Bates. When they are checking the register, we see a low angle shot of Norman's chin. This was an bold and unique choice made by Hitchcock, and turned out to be very effective. It added to the film as a whole by determining the truly eerie character of Norman Bates.

During day 2 of screening, the final scene of the movie stayed in my mind. It is when Norman Bates has been taken in to jail, and they realized that he has multiple personalities. In this scene, he is speaking as his mother. I liked how the camera stayed on his face without moving through the whole scene, while the voice over of his mother continued to play, It added to the film by talking about what Norman would do now that he's been caught.
